"kissmas"

So, Halle has been cracking us up lately with her cute little personality and "her" understanding of Christmas. On Justice's birthday Halle was so excited and wanted to know when she was getting presents again, I told her Christmas was coming and that she would get presents then, so lately she has been saying, "Kissmas is gonna bring me some presents Mom!" I think she has the idea that "kissmas" is a person, well we have laughed and laughed as she says it quite frequently. Now we have the tree up and she understands that the presents go under the Christmas tree, now she is saying," Mom kissmas tree is gonna give me some presents" I know I am her mother and so of course these darling little statements are heartwarming to me, Linc and I both have smiles across our faces when she makes these comments, so I am sorry to be a doting mother, but you gotta admit...IT'S ADORABLE!!! :) I hope it brought a smile to your face as well! (we could all stand for a few more smiles in our day!)

Something to live by!

"PEOPLE ARE OFTEN UNREASONABLE AND SELF CENTERED, FORGIVE THEM ANYWAY, IF YOU ARE KIND PEOPLE MAY ACCUSE YOU OF ULTERIOR MOTIVES, BE KIND ANYWAY, IF YOU ARE HONEST PEOPLE MAY CHEAT YOU, BE HONEST ANYWAY, THE GOOD YOU DO TODAY MAY BE FORGOTTEN TOMORROW, DO GOOD ANYWAY, GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU HAVE AND IT MAY NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH, DO GOOD ANYWAY, FOR YOU SEE IN THE END IT IS BETWEEN YOU AND GOD, IT NEVER WAS BETWEEN YOU AND THEM ANYWAY!"
~MOTHER TERESA

I LOVE quotes by Mother Teresa they are always so profound and something to live by!! Maybe with the new year coming and therefore the "goal setting" we can all remember this great statement!

Hopeless Romantic

So I joined some friends and went to the midnight show of Twilight on opening night! I really enjoyed it, even more then I thought I would, so much that I saw the movie for a second time! I liked it better the second time too! I never thought I was such a "Hopeless Romantic" but I realized I am! It is interesting to hear and read others perspective of the movie, I learned more about myself by listening to the opinions of others. All in all I am such a geek for romance and drama, how silly am I!? I just love how their love for each other is portrayed! Love conquers all!! BOOYA

P.S. The new song playing is the song Edward and Bella dance to at the prom and I LOVE this song!!

Justice turns SeVen!

Justice had a great Seventh Birthday! His day consisted of the following;
* He started the day opening all his gifts!
* Mom made him his favorite homemade muffins, (almond poppy seed)
* Mom and Halle joined him for lunch at school.
* Mom came back to school and brought a treat for the whole class!
* The Wii party started @ 3:30
* Dinner for his favorite food Orange Chicken @ China Isle with grampa and gramma Harper, greg and Rach.
* Home for more gifts from the cousins and great grands!

Justice had a great day I would say! He played the light saber duals with his friends on the Wii and had a lot of fun. This year he requested a double light saber cake, which fit the theme anyway! This is the third time I have made a light saber cake for him! When he blew out the candles for the second time that evening, he would blow one out and then re light it with the one lit, he did this about 4 times everyone was laughing! He is such a joy to have around and such a sweet boy! He is so good to always remind us to choose the right! :)

HaLLowEen!

It is a little late, but I had to post the pictures of the kids! This year we followed a theme, Justice wanted to be Mario and his cousin he loves to play with had to be Luigi!(so here they are crooked mustaches and all) Justice and Os are like brothers, they both enjoy playing Nintendo together too, so it just fit! Halle was Princess Daisy and I was Princess Peach (sorry no photo available)! The kids had a great time trick or treating and I was thrilled when it was all over, I am getting old because all the festivities just wear me out!

Something new!!

Finally something new from the Hansen's! So here are a few of my favorites!
Halle is such a delight! She is now Binki Free! So a picture to remember the good ol "baby" days for Halle!:) (We finally did it at age 2 1/2!)

SUCH A GOOD DAD! The other day when Linc came home from work the kids were out having fun on their scooters and Mom and Justice had just finished a few scooter Races, so dad joined in as per Justice's request. This means a lot to me as a mother I want my children to have good relationships with their parents and its always good to show the kids your never too old to have a good time!

I love the picture of Justice kissing his baby sister, this just shows his true personality, so gentle and loving! We love Justice soo much and Halle too of course!
